Who Comes To The Redford Theatre?

Everyone! People of all ages. The Redford is perfect for nights out with the family, date nights, night out with friends, group events and outings, or for anyone interested in classic movies or even just the magical world only the Redford can take you to.

Where Do I Park?

The Redford owns and leases several lots surrounding the north end of the building. When arriving keep an eye open for the signs and our parking attendants who will be directing you to the best possible parking spot.

Where Can I Buy Tickets?

Tickets are available on-line through the site or by clicking HERE. Using our on-line sales system allows you to purchase your tickets in advance and offers you several options to bypass the box office line. Tickets are also available at the box office before each event.

There are no ticket refunds and no ticket exchanges.

Is There A Concession Counter?

Yes! Please visit our cash only, award winning concession counter stocked with more than 50 varieties of goodies including popcorn with real butter.  Concessions are cash only.

What Time Does The Theatre Open?

The Redford typically opens its doors and the box office one hour prior to the events start time. For our classic film series a theatre organ overture takes place on our original Barton organ one half hour before each event. Arrive early to get the best seats and to hear the organ.

How Large Is The Redford?

It is estimated that the building size is approximately 30,000 square feet. The theatre has the ability to hold 1,610 guests including 17 spots that are wheelchair accessible.

Who Owns The Redford?

The non-profit 501(c)3 Motor City Theatre Organ Society owns and operates the Redford Theatre. The Redford Theatre is operated by an all-volunteer staff. Proceeds from programs presented at the Redford are used to help MCTOS restore and maintain the theatre building.
