The Freshman is a 1925 American silent comedy film starring Harold Lloyd that tells the story of a college freshman trying to become popular by joining the school football team.
As part of the Redford Theatre's 95th Anniversary Year Celebration, Lloyd's granddaughter Suzanne Lloyd will appear live at the Redford Theatre and introduce The Freshmen.
Also on the program are two short comedies starring Harold Lloyd:
• (Friday, May 19): Get Out and Get Under (1920) and An Eastern Westerner (1920)
• (Saturday, May 20): An Eastern Westerner (1920) and Never Weaken (1921)
All movies will have live organ accompaniment by John Lauter.
