Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954)—in 3D

A tribute to Lawson Deming, better known as Sir Graves Ghastly, the legendary Detroit TV horror host from the 1970s and early 1980s. The tribute includes clips from the old Sir Graves show and live on stage remembrances from his three sons.

As part of the fun, we are presenting an anaglyph 3D screening of the Universal monster classic, Creature from the Black Lagoon, in which a team of scientists ventures into the Amazon jungle and encounters a mysterious amphibious creature that becomes enamored with one of the team members. As they attempt to capture the creature for study, they find themselves in a tense battle for survival against the ancient predator.
