Ben-Hur (1959)

Charlton Heston is Ben-Hur, an aristocratic Jew who ends up a slave under Roman rule during the time of Christ. He gets a chance for redemption in an epic chariot race against his former friend Masala (Stephen Boyd) in an action sequence still unmatched for its excitement and stunt work.
