  • House Rules/Event Guidelines
    • The theatre is compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
    • The theatre has no elevators between the main level and the balcony level.
    • No large purses or backpacks allowed in the theatre.
    • No photography or video recording during live events or movie events.
    • Cell phones and smartphones must be turned off during live events or movie events.
    • Cash preferred for concessions – credit or debit available
    • The Barton Organ is usually played 30 minutes before each show. There is typically a 15 minute intermission.
  • Buying Tickets
    • No refunds under any circumstances.
    • The theatre opens one hour before show time unless otherwise stated.
    • Tickets may also be purchased at the theatre box office starting one hour before each show.
    • Online ticket sales stop 90 minutes before the start of an event, to help ticket takers when doors open one hour before an event.
    • General admission seating unless otherwise specified.
    • No passes accepted for special events. No refunds under any circumstances.
    • Please be cautious in the purchase of any resale tickets. We are not responsible for fraudulent tickets.
  • Programming
    • We reserve the right to change programming due to circumstances beyond our control.
    • The films shown at The Redford Theatre are products of their times and thus may depict ethnic and racial prejudices that were commonplace in American society. Such films, presented as originally created, therefore may contain outdated cultural attitudes, language, depictions that were wrong then and are wrong today. They do not represent the views of the Motor City Theatre Organ Society.
No alcoholic beverages may be brought onto the premises. Any misconduct, illegal activity, intoxication, use of illegal substance, breaches of etiquette, disruptive behavior, heckling, or violation of any rule or instruction is prohibited and shall be grounds for forfeiture of your ticket and for your removal from the premises.
