Mark of the Vampire (Sir Graves Ghastly Tribute)

Saturday, October 18 at 2:00 PM Tickets: $10

Attention Dear Hearts! Detroit TV horror host Sir Graves Ghastly lives again in this Saturday afternoon tribute which runs just like the old show, which ran from 1967 to 1982 on WJBK Channel 2. This year we have unearthed a rare 1975 episode where Graves does skits in between segments of the full feature Mark of the Vampire (1935), starring Bela Lugosi.

Bela Lugosi and daughter Caroll Borland are vampire suspects in Tod Browning’s atmospheric horror thriller. No one has seen this material in 50 years! Also appearing: David Deming, son of Sir Graves actor Lawson Deming (creator of the Graves statue in the Redford lobby). And if that wasn’t enough: hot dogs for sale and photo ops with a rare Graves artifact that has its own unusual history!
