Classic Cartoon Festival—A Cartoon Cavalcade for Kids

Ann Arbor-based Animation expert Steve Stanchfield returns to host his annual collection of rare and familiar cartoon gems, many in original 16mm and 35mm film prints.

The afternoon program is a family-friendly collection of cartoon favorites like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Popeye, Road Runner, Tom and Jerry, Felix the Cat, plus a smattering of TV cartoon icons. Capped by gorgeous new restorations of Max Fleischer’s still-thrilling Superman cartoon series from the early 1940s.
